2004 - MARC BOLAN 27th MEMORIAL DAY

The day of Thursday September 16th 2004 dawned dry and sunny, if a little cold as we set off for Barnes. We had already visited the Tree Site on Saturday 11th September when we spent over two hours tidying and weeding the site.

We gathered two complete black bin-liner bags full of assorted rubbish and dead leaves from the site. We sprayed and polished the PRS Memorial Stone, The Bronze and Plinth so that the site was looking as nice as possible for anyone who visited the Memorial Gardens early.

It was really lovely to meet people at Marc's Shrine on the 16th September. A very special "Tanx" to Billy for the acoustic set. Stills of Billy performing are on page two of this gallery - images 13 - 17 (inclusive). I hope you enjoy the photographs in this gallery.
