LONDON EVENING STANDARD
On Friday 14th September, 2007 the London Evening Standard ran a piece SHINY SHRINEY PEOPLE written by David Smyth their chief rock and pop critic. He writes a column about pop on Fridays. Last week he told me "this week I was hoping to spend some time at Marc Bolan's tree in Barnes, to write about this focus for fans of the man as we approach the anniversary of his death.". The article was published while we were at Stonehenge for Marc's Celebration. Our daughter Ellie was somewhat disgruntled to be called a "Devoted Fan" because for the children of most Marc Bolan fans he means dancing to music, but for our two children it means WORK as can be seen here!
