lling a face to see where he might have gotten wrinkles, and sort of bullshit the rest. I also studied pictures of how the surviving glam rockers and Marc's contemporaries started looking after thirty years.
In case you were wondering, he's not wearing a tie, it's one of those white riding scarves like they used to wear driving in Victorian times. I guess this is the version of Marc that eats and fills out over time. Martyn thinks that he would have done just the opposite and gotten really skinny. I'm not so sure about that, but maybe I will try that alternate version out another time. Either one raises a lot of questions--what would his music sound like?
Would he have been in any more movies? Would he have fought David Bowie for the role of Jareth in The Labyrinth? Would he have won?
It's weird to think about, isn't it?"
Yes I think it is! Thanks for your work Bailey! Terrific :-)
These two illustrations were done by Bailey Quillin, a 22 year-old American artist whom I found while looking around the site upon which our daughter uploads her Degree Course Artwork and thought you'd be interested to see them too, though of course how accurate her illustrations are (to you) depends on how you think Marc would look like aged 61. You can see the artist middle right with her really lovely painting of Marc. Here is what she says about the first sketch:-
